Tampa Favorites
Our go-to spots for the perfect Tampa Bay weekend — coffee, clean beauty, a back-to-nature escape, beach days, and brunch.
Coffee
Carnivore Coffee Co
Carnivore Coffee Co. is a mobile primal coffee camper serving Tampa Bay. Their whole thing is clean ingredients, so think protein drinks, refined sugar free and seed oil free options, and organic coffee. Since they roll around in a camper, check where they're parked before you head over. It's a great pick if you want a coffee or protein drink that fits a clean eating or paleo leaning routine.

Nature Escape
Fallen Oak Farms
Voted Tampa's Best Event Venue, Fallen Oak Farms is a boutique farm and 8,000 sq ft greenhouse sanctuary just outside the city in Valrico. Wander the aroma-therapy gardens and butterfly-filled greenhouses, drift on the sensory garden swings, and cuddle the famous dwarf therapy goats. It's an unexpectedly magical, back-to-nature escape — by reservation only.

Beach Day
Caladesi Island
Caladesi is one of the last truly untouched barrier islands on the Gulf Coast, and you can only get there by boat, which is half the fun. Hop the ferry from Honeymoon Island and about 20 minutes later you're on three miles of white sand that consistently ranks among the best beaches in the country. Paddle a kayak through the mangrove tunnels, hike the nature trail, hunt for shells at low tide, or just post up on the sand with a picnic. Easily the best day trip if you want to feel a world away without leaving Tampa Bay.

Brunch
Casa Cami
Casa Cami sits on the 10th floor of The Current Hotel out on Rocky Point, and the views are the whole reason to go. You get sweeping looks across Tampa Bay all the way to Clearwater and St. Pete, especially at sunset. The food is modern Mexican — think tacos, ceviches, and fresh entrees — with a big margarita and cocktail list to match. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and weekend brunch is a thing here.
